I found this tools from the Internet which provide some impress features to allow the users to manage the backup and VM explorer as an alternative from the only tools we have on the VM infrastructure today. Trilead is able to work as explorer for you to  manage, review, monitor and task execution on your VM infrastructure farm.  It able to provide the inventory listing in details for us to manage the VM infrastructure as an alternative.
