		<description>In normal day, when we speak about physical server and not Virtual Machine, your comment could be match. But do remember, in VMware, you will have more than 1 virtual machine per LUN, per datastore and per path. 

You may need to consider the performance hit you will face on the storage site. I am agreed with you it does not help a lot if we do this to a physical server, but in ESX or virtual infrastructure, thing will change a little bit from there.</description>

		<description>cool good trick but I dont think there is performance for the sequential read write. But for the random read write it helps allot. Remember it depends on the model of EMC you are using there is a limitation of Meta Luns that you can use. So use it wisely.

Do correct me if I am wrong about it.</description>
