Finally, I passed my VCP 4 exam today. I spend around 1 hour and 20 mins for the entire session to complete the 85 questions. I am impressed with the questions during the test which is not straight forward and easy as previous exam in VCP 3. For my session, most question are related to hands on experience related to the virtual infrastructure.
VCP 4 mock exam is available at vmware educational website. You may want to refer simon long’s blog to prepare the VCP 4 exam. Both should be helpful. Additional to that, you should also practice in test environment about the HA, DRS, FT, Resource pools and etc.
Good Luck !!!

What is your score? Max score is 500 http://www.ntpro.nl/blog/archives/1255-VCP-on-vSphere-4-Exam-Scoring.html
To be honest, not very sure how they calculate the point in the exam. My score is 319 consider pass, but not enough to be certified instructor
The minimum scored to be VCI is 350 craig but i scored 470.
I used XXXXXX VCP-410 as my training material plus lots of hands on experience. It is kind of weird the questions that i studied on XXXXXX was exactly same on the exam not few but every single questions in other words XXXXX sell real exam questions which i found out after taking the exam
Hi teal, I do not think is a good idea to buy the question and go for exam, it will end up similar to MCSE, everyone will have the VCP on hand. Hands on experience with detail understanding is much more important to prove the value of the certification.
