It was a long journey for myself to reach vegas 10 hours ago, which took me more than 17 hours flight in total to reach my hotel . I am very excited to join this event which allow myself to explore many opportunities around the globe surrounding the Cloud and Virtualization. I will try my best to perform necessary blogging during the event, but this may need to check out the internet connectivity in the conference as I do not have the 3G coverage with my Roaming due to incredible expensive rate.

Again, finally I am here and I hope this will not be the first and my last trip to the VMworld event. I always wish there are more to come.

I would like to thank you my bosses who fully support my trip to Vegas and my friend from VMware who encourage me to attend this event.

VMworld 2008 is just around the corner which will be happen next month in Las Vegas, United States. I wish I have such good oppotunities to go VMwolrd one day soon. As a VMware engineer, I think I shouldn’t miss this kind of related seminar World wide. Again I wish I can bring my wife to US, she wish she can go US too.

If you look at scottlowe blog, you should noticed about “VMworld Spouse Activities”, basically he plan to have some activities for his wife and non-conference attending partner. Such a good idea!

Purchase the Las Vegas PowerPass, which grants access to a bunch of different Las Vegas attractions. You can get more information about the PowerPass at www.visiticket.com. Also available from the same site is information on the Las Vegas MealTicket. Prices range from $75 (for one day) to $145 (for five days). Crystal is only planning activities for a couple of days during the conference, but attendees may want to buy a longer PowerPass for activities before or after VMworld.

Instead of the PowerPass, we could arrange for a private tour of Hoover Dam or a private trip to the Grand Canyon. This approach could only accommodate groups of up to 9, and would range in price from $119 to $139. There may be some additional charges for transportation; we’re still working on this option.

There are a lot of free (or inexpensive) attractions in Las Vegas, so the third option would be to simply arrange an itinerary based on these activities. This would include stuff like going to the Mirage to see the white tiger exhibit or taking the gondola ride at the Venetian.

So if you bring your wife or your partner, please remember to check out his blog. If yo have better idea, probably you can ping him. Good luck!
